Miami Guard and Future NBA Lottery Pick Lonnie Walker Says The Earth Isn't Flat - It's An Illusion.

MIAMI HERALDLonnie Walker excelled on the court during the NBA Combine in Chicago last week.

The potential lottery pick in the 2018 NBA Draft also made waves during some of his interviews.

While on the set with ESPN during the Combine, the topic shifted to the makeup of Earth.

“When you talk about facts and things of that nature, it’s amazing to me we’ve discovered so much about this world,” Walker said, “yet, we don’t anything about this world.”

Oh yeah.  Oh hell yeah.  Somebody grab me an IV bag, get me a needle, lay me back on the chair, tap my arm, find the vein, get ready to feed this shit directly into my bloodstream….

So does that mean he might agree with the Boston Celtics’ Kyrie Irving, who is adamant that the Earth is flat?

Not exactly.

Ah fuck.  FUCK.  I thought we were about to flat-Earth the shit out of this.  I fucking love the Flat Earthers.  They are absolutely incredible people.  What a let down.

But Walker does have a conspiracy theory of his own, one that just might top Irving’s proclamation.

OH MY GOD.

“The Earth is not flat, in my opinion,” Walker said, “but the Earth, on my conspiracy, the Earth is definitely an illusion.”

LET’S.

FUCKING.

GO!

The Earth is an illusion.  Incredible.  Not round.  Not flat.  Just does not even exist.  A completely false idea.  There is no Earth, period.   It’s all in our mind.  And he said definitely!

I’m fucking high on this take.

And the best part is, it’s not some bullshit mumbo jumbo from a Reddit message board of dumbasses.

It’s a theory that has recently been put forth by a scientist, a real life scientist, a brilliant scientific mind from the UK’s University of Southhampton (ever heard of it?), in a real life published scientific journal.

That the Earth is a “vast and complex hologram.”

Talk about a reality check: The entire universe could be a “vast and complex hologram,” scientists reported Monday. Also, even more unsettling, what we think of as reality may be just an illusion.

“Imagine that everything you see, feel and hear in three dimensions (and your perception of time) in fact emanates from a flat two-dimensional field,” said study co-author Kostas Skenderis of the U.K.’s University of Southampton.

“The idea is similar to that of ordinary holograms where a three-dimensional image is encoded in a two-dimensional surface, such as in the hologram on a credit card,” Skenderis said. “However, this time, the entire universe is encoded.”

It’s similar to watching a 3-D movie in a cinema, according to the study. While we see the pictures as having height, width and depth, they in fact all originate from a flat two-dimensional screen.

The study authors say they found the evidence for a holographic universe by studying the “afterglow” of the Big Bang with powerful new telescopes.

The telescopes detected a vast amount of data hidden in the “white noise” or microwaves left over from the moment the universe was created. Theoretical physicists and astrophysicists first identified the concept of a holographic universe in the 1990s, and this discovery is the best evidence yet for that theory. [USA TODAY]

I love it.  I’m so close to being all in.  I’m not fully there yet, but I’m gonna be doing some reading.  I’m gonna get to the bottom of this.  If I can believe that everything I’m seeing and feeling and living is fake and doesn’t even matter, I’m about to get fucking wild.  Goodbye anxiety.  Hello illusion world.
